Every NFL team has certain positions on their roster that they need to fill in order to sustain success. NFL teams usually gain success by winning their division or their conference in order to earn a chance to compete for a championship. When it comes to filling positions, it is better to find those players either in free agency, trades with other teams, or the NFL Draft. Here’s a look at the NFL’s National Football Conference Eastern Division.

The Washington Redskins’ biggest off-season needs are an offensive line, edge rusher, and wide receiver. The best place for the Redskins to get an offensive lineman is already on their team. Trent Williams is one of the best tackles in all of football, and it would be foolish for the Redskins to let him go. The Redskins should get an edge rusher at the NFL Draft, where they should take Ohio State Buckeye Chase Young. Chase Young is arguably the best player in the draft and would bring immediate help to this Washington defense. The best place for Washington to get a wide receiver would be the NFL Draft. Since there are a lot of great receivers in this draft class, it’s hard to pick just one receiver that they should go get. The one receiver they should probably take is Baylor Bear Denzel Mims. Fast, tall, and a threat in the red zone, Mims would bring great depth to Washington’s receiving core.

The New York Giants’ top needs are offensive tackle, defensive back, and linebacker. The best place for the Giants to get that o-lineman would be the NFL Draft. Since they have the 4th overall pick, they can’t really go wrong with any of the top offensive linemen, but I think they’ll pick Alabama’s Jedrick Wills, Jr. Wills just might be the best offensive line prospect in this draft and should be the #No. 1 protector for Giants quarterback, Dainel Jones. The best place for the Giants to grab a defensive back would be at the NFL Draft as well. It’s more than likely that the Detroit Lions will stay at 3 and draft Ohio State corner, Jeffery Okudah. If the Detroit Lions don’t take Jeff Okudah and trade their pick, Okudah could be a likely target for the Giants. The best place to get a linebacker for the Giants would also be at the NFL Draft. If they could get Clemson Tiger Isiah Simmons, with his size, speed, and versatility, that would be sensational for the Giants because of how great of a defender he could be.

The three biggest needs for the Dallas Cowboys are at defensive back, defensive line, and wide receiver. Dallas should get a defensive back at the NFL Draft. The Cowboys should grab Florida corner C.J Henderson. Henderson is one of the better corners in this draft and would provide immediate help to this Cowboys secondary. The best place to get a defensive lineman for the Cowboys would be in free agency. If JaDeveon Clowney is available, that would bring much-needed help to this Dallas defense. The best place for the Cowboys to grab a wide receiver would be the NFL Draft. This receiver class is one of the best in years, and one receiver that Dallas should target is LSU Tiger Justin Jefferson. Jefferson has a great year for the Tigers and would provide great help to Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and this offense.

The Philadelphia Eagles’ most pressing needs are at defensive back, linebacker, and at wide receiver. The best place for the Eagles to get a defensive back would be at the NFL Draft. This Eagles secondary was extremely depleted, so they could use their first-round pick on Alabama safety Xavier McKinney. McKinney is a  great all-around safety that would provide immediate help to the Eagles defense. Philadelphia should grab a linebacker at the NFL Draft as well. LSU Tiger Patrick Queen is one of the best linebackers in this draft and would provide great depth to this Philadelphia defense. The best place for Philadelphia to get a receiver would also be at the NFL Draft. There are too many receivers in this draft that could be selected within the first two days of the draft, and Clemson Tiger Tee Higgins is one receiver that the Eagles should target. Higgins is a lengthy and agile receiver that would provide Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz with a great weapon.
