Every NFL team has certain positions on their roster that they need to fill in order to sustain success. NFL teams usually gain success by winning their division, and, hopefully, winning their conference in order to earn a chance to compete for a championship. When it comes to filling positions, it is better to find those players either in free agency, trades with other teams, or the NFL Draft. I am going to take a further look into the teams in the NFL’s American Football Conference Western Division.

The biggest needs for the Las Vegas Raiders are at wide receiver, cornerback and at linebacker. Vegas should grab a wide receiver at the NFL Draft, where they should draft Oklahoma’s Cede Lamb. Lamb is the most physical receiver in this draft class and would provide much-needed help for this Raiders offense. The Raiders should get a cornerback at the NFL Draft as well. Since the Raiders have multiple first-round draft picks, they can use the ladder of them on LSU corner Kristian Fulton. Fulton is one of the better corners in this draft class and would provide great help for the Raiders secondary. The best place for Las Vegas to grab a linebacker would also be at the NFL Draft. The guy they should target is Oklahoma Sooner, Kenneth Murray. Murray is the best linebacker in this draft class and a tenacious play on defense fits the Raider mentality perfectly.

The three biggest needs for the Los Angeles Chargers are at quarterback, offensive line, and cornerback. Los Angeles should grab a quarterback in free agency. Los Angeles is in win-now mode, and should go out and get former Carolina Panther, Cam Newton. Newton is a former MVP and a proven starter that would be great for the Chargers. The Chargers should get an offensive lineman at the NFL Draft. The guy that the Chargers should pick is Alabama offensive lineman, Jedrick Wills. Wills is arguably the best offensive lineman in this draft, and would be a great addition to this Chargers offensive line. The best place for the Chargers to get a corner would also be at the NFL Draft. Their first-round pick will probably be used on one of their other needs, so they should try and get Ohio State corner Damon Arnette. Arnette, while not as good as his teammate, Jeff Okudah, is a valuable corner that would provide depth for this Chargers secondary.

The top three needs for the Denver Broncos are on the offensive line, cornerback, and wide receiver. The best place for the Broncos to get an o-lineman would be at the NFL Draft. The guy they should target is Louisville Cardinal, Mekhi Becton. Becton is a massive individual with a ton of upside and would be a great addition to the Broncos o-line. Denver should get a corner from the NFL Draft as well. With their first round pick, they could use it on Florida Gator, C.J Henderson. Henderson is one of the fastest players in this draft, and would be a solid corner in the Denver secondary. The Broncos should also get a wide receiver at the NFL Draft. The guy that they should target is Alabama receiver, Henry Ruggs. Ruggs is the fastest player in this draft, and he would bring much-needed explosiveness to this Denver offense.

The three positions that the Kansas City Chiefs should prioritize are at running back, defensive back, and offensive line. The best place for the Chiefs to get a running back would be at the NFL Draft. The guy they should get is Wisconsin Badger, Johnathan Taylor. Taylor was extremely productive during his time at Wisconsin, and would bring great depth to this explosive Chiefs offense. Kansas City should grab a defensive back at the NFL Draft as well. The guy that they should target would be Clemson Tiger A.J Terrell. Terrell is one of the better corners in this draft class, and would also provide great depth to improve this Chiefs defense. The Chiefs should also get an offensive lineman at the NFL Draft. Since their pick is at the back end of the first round, they could use it on USC Trojan, Austin Jackson. Jackson would be considered a great value pick for the Chiefs.
