Every NFL team has certain positions on their roster that they need to fill in order to sustain success. NFL teams usually gain success by winning their division, and, hopefully, winning their conference in order to earn a chance to compete for a championship. When it comes to filling positions, it better to find those players either in free agency, trades with other teams, or the NFL Draft. Here are predictions for NFL’s American Football Conference South Division.

The biggest needs for the Jacksonville Jaguars are at defensive line, defensive back, and at offensive line. The Jaguars should get a d-lineman from the NFL Draft, where they could draft South Carolina Gamecock, Javon Kinlaw. Maybe the best run defender in this class, Kinlaw would be a great addition to this Jacksonville defensive line. The best place for the Jags to get a defensive back would also be the NFL Draft. Since they have two first round picks, they can use the ladder pick of Florida corner, CJ Henderson. A tall and fast corner, I consider Henderson one of the better defensive players in this draft class. Jacksonville should get an offensive lineman would be NFL Free Agency. Since the best college o-lineman would probably be off the board in the NFL Draft, Jacksonville should probably and try to sign former Redskins offensive tackle, Trent Williams. One of the better tackles in all of football, Williams would provide much needed experience for this Jacksonville offense.

The three biggest needs for the Indianapolis Colts are at wide receiver, quarterback, and defensive line. The best place for the Colts to get a wide receiver would be at the NFL Draft. The guy that they should pick would be Jerry Judy. Judy is one of the most polished receivers in this draft, and because of his route-running, would remind Colts fans of Hall-of-Fame receiver, Marvin Harrison. The Colts should get a quarterback would be in free agency. I know that the Colts could just easily draft a quarterback with their first round pick, but I believe that this team has a roster to make multiple runs in the playoffs, so they need to get an experienced quarterback that can lead them on these runs. The quarterback the the Colts should try and pursue should be Teddy Bridgewater. Bridgewater had been a solid quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings before he got hurt, and was a solid quarterback when filling in for New Orleans Saints quarterback, Drew Brees. Indi should get a defensive lineman would be at the NFL Draft. With their first round pick, they, like the Jaguars, should also try and take Javon Kinlaw. Kinlaw would be a great piece that could be added to the Indi defense.

The top three needs for the Tennessee Titans are at defensive end, offensive line, and quarterback. The Titans would get a d-end would be at the NFL Draft. The guy that the Titans should get is Alabama edge rusher, Terrell Lewis. Lewis is a guy, that has been a forgotten man in this entire process, but he was a solid linebacker for the Alabama Crimson Tide and would be a great piece to this Titans defense. The best place for Tennessee to get an offensive lineman would also be the NFL Draft. The Titans, with that pick, could use it on Houston tackle Josh Jones. Jones is one of the many high risers in this NFL Draft class, and would add nice depth to this Tennessee offensive line. Tennessee should get a quarterback would be in free agency. Because of the surprising play of quarterback Ryan Tannehill, the Titans have the option to either franchise tag him, give him a big contract, or let him go and get another quarterback in free agency. The quarterback that the Titans could try and grab might be New England Patriots legend, Tom Brady. Because former teammate, Mike Vrabel, is Tennessee’s head coach, a great running game revolving around running back, Derrick Henry, and with an underrated defense, Brady may be the piece that’s missing for this Titans team.

The three positions that the Houston Texans should prioritize are at running back, defensive end, and cornerback. The best place for the Texans to get a running back would be in the NFL Draft. Despite having a 1,000 yd. rusher in journeyman Carlos Hyde, running back is still one of the weakest positions on Houston’s roster, but because of Hyde’s veteran presence, the Texans should try and get Ohio State back J.K Dobbins in the top of the second round. Dobbins was a beast at Ohio State, and would be another great piece for the Texans offense. The best place for Houston to get a defensive end would be at the NFL Draft as well. The guy that they should get would be Michigan pass rusher, Joshua Uche. Uche would be a guy that could bring depth to Houston’s defensive line. The best place for the Texans to get a cornerback would also be at the NFL Draft. The corner that Houston should try and get would be Utah corner, Julian Blackmon. Blackmon is one of the better corners in this draft class, and would be a great addition to this Houston defense.
