Every NFL team has certain positions on their roster that they need to fill in order to sustain success. NFL teams usually gain success by winning their division or their conference in order to earn a chance to compete for a championship. When it comes to filling positions, it is better to find those players either in free agency, trades with other teams, or the NFL Draft. Here’s a look at the NFL’s American Football Conference North Division.

The Cincinnati Bengals biggest off-season needs are a quarterback, edge rusher, and wide receiver. The best place for the Bengals to get a quarterback would be in the NFL Draft, where they have the first overall pick. With that first pick, they should select LSU Tiger, Joe Burrow, because he is the down-right best quarterback in this draft. The Bengals should get an edge rusher in free agency. They should try and sign former Tampa Bay Buccaneers d-lineman, Shaquil Barrett, because he’s a young, up-and-coming star and would be a nice addition to the Bengals defensive line. The best place for Cincinnati to get a wide receiver would be the NFL Draft. Since they have the top pick of the second round, and there are a lot of great receivers in this draft class, they should select Penn State wide out, K.J Hamler, with that pick. Hamler is a speedy and electric receiver that can also provide help in the special teams market.

The Cleveland Browns top needs are offensive tackle, safety, and defensive line. The best place for the Browns to get that o-lineman would be the NFL Draft. Since they have the 10th pick, they can’t really go wrong with any of the top offensive lineman, but I think they’ll pick Iowa Hawkeye, Tristan Wirfs. This pick all depends on who the highest offensive tackle on their big board is. I think that guy is Wirfs because who can play tackle and kick inside at guard for the Browns. The best place for the Browns to grab a safety would be in free agency. If former Dallas Cowboy Byron Jones is available, the Browns should steal him from any other club for he’s very athletic and would provide great contribution to that Cleveland back-end. The best place to get a d-lineman for the Browns would also be free agency. If they could sign Jadeveon Clowney, that would be amazing for the Browns because of how great of a pass rusher he could be.

The three biggest needs for the Baltimore Ravens are at defensive line, linebacker, and wide receiver. Like the Bengals, the Ravens should also try and pursue Shaq Barrett, because they’d be adding another great piece to that stellar defense. The best place to get a linebacker for the Ravens would be the NFL draft. Since they have a pick late in the first round, they would stay and take Oklahoma linebacker, Kenneth Murray. Why? Because he’s tenacious on the defensive side and would serve as a great reminder to Ravens fans of NFL Hall-of Fame linebacker, Ray Lewis. The best place for the Ravens to grab a wide receiver would be the NFL Draft. While Murray would be a great selection, the more important need for the Ravens is at receiver. Jalen Reagor from TCU is a tall receiver that really came on this past year for the Horned Frogs, and would be a nice addition for NFL MVP, Lamar Jackson.

The Pittsburgh Steelers most pressing needs are at defensive line, the interior offensive line, and at wide receiver. The best place for the Steelers to get a defensive lineman would be at the NFL Draft. Since they don’t have a first round pick, they should draft Utah defensive star, Bradley Anae. Anae was arguably the most productive d-lineman in this draft class and should provide much needed help to Pittsburgh. The Steelers should also turn to the draft for an interior offensive lineman. Michigan center Cesar Ruiz is one of the best IOL in this draft class, and they wouldn’t have to trade their second round pick to get him. The best place for Pittsburgh to get a receiver would also be the NFL Draft. There are just a bunch of receivers in this draft that could be selected within the first two days of the draft, and Denzel Mims Baylor is another guy on that list that the Steelers should grab. Mims, who just so happens to be one of my favorite receivers in this class, is another tall and extremely reliable, especially when it comes to red zone situations.
